We are seeking a Director of Materials Management for a growing industrial organization undergoing significant operational expansion. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who can run a complex materials operation while building the systems, processes, and team needed to support continued growth.

As Director of Materials Management, you will lead warehouse and inventory operations supporting an active plant environment and ongoing capital projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who can assess the current operation, identify gaps, and execute meaningful improvements across inventory management, material availability, warehouse processes, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead day-to-day warehouse, inventory, and materials management operations
- Develop and execute strategies to improve inventory accuracy, material availability, and warehouse efficiency
- Drive transformation initiatives across warehouse processes, systems, workflows, and physical operations
- Build and develop the materials management organization, including leadership of warehouse supervisors and operational teams
- Partner closely with Maintenance and Operations to develop critical spares strategies and proactively address material requirements
- Establish stronger processes for inventory reviews, stocking strategies, material planning,



and operational readiness
- Improve receiving, storage, staging, material movement, and inventory control practices
- Leverage SAP and materials data to strengthen inventory controls, improve visibility, and support more disciplined warehouse operations
- Develop and monitor KPIs to identify bottlenecks, improve performance, and support continuous improvement
- Lead improvement projects from strategy through implementation, ensuring changes are successfully adopted and sustained

The idóneo candidate will bring 10+ years of progressive experience in materials management, warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain execution, ideally within a plant or heavy industrial environment. Strong hands-on SAP experience is important for this role, along with a demonstrated track record of transforming operations and successfully implementing process improvements from strategy through execution.

This is an opportunity to step into a visible leadership role with significant influence over how the materials management function evolves as the organization grows. The position offers a base salary of $170,000-$200,000, depending on experience, plus a competitive total rewards package including annual bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
