Role Description The Senior Staff Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Las Vegas. This role is responsible for managing general ledger activities, preparing journal entries, and performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

The Senior Staff Accountant will reconcile balance sheet accounts, support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.



The role also involves identifying process efficiencies, supporting regulatory and compliance requirements, and providing timely financial insights to leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting fundamentals, including general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems, as well as intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit preparation best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site in the Las Vegas headquarters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in payments, financial services, or gaming industry environments a plus.
