Through teaching English in Asia-Oceania, the TESOL Specialist will support the local church, make connections and engage in outreach to communities of unreached people.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and teach well developed and engaging lessons
- Effectively and appropriately differentiate instruction to accommodate students with a wide range of English language skills
- Select and sequence appropriate materials, resources, and approaches according to the learners
- Engage in study of Asia-Oceania language and strive for a basic level of proficiency (short term worker) or a high level of proficiency (long term worker)
- Support the local church in their outreach events through the use of English teaching
- Support the general ministry of the field
- Weave the compassion of Christ into all tasks

Education and Experience Requirements

- Experience in ESL/TESOL or relevant bachelor's degree preferred
- Mission experience and/or cross-cultural experience a plus

This is a support-based position that involves raising financial support through ministry partners for salary and other expenses.
