About the Role

As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support throughout the lifecycle of our medical devices, from installation and training to troubleshooting, maintenance, and after-sales service.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain medical equipment: Conduct on-site installations, equipment setup, preventive and corrective maintenance, and technical service while following technical specifications, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Train customers and end users: Provide clear, hands-on training to doctors, nurses, biomedical personnel, technicians, and other users on the proper operation and use of Contec products, including patient monitors, pulse oximeters, ECG systems, ultrasound equipment, and other medical devices.
- Provide after-sales and technical support: Diagnose technical issues, perform troubleshooting and repairs, and provide timely solutions to ensure equipment reliability and high customer satisfaction.
- Support Sales and Business Development: Conduct technical demonstrations, provide pre-sales technical advice, and collaborate with commercial teams during the sales process and after implementation.
- Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement: Prepare accurate service reports,



maintenance records, customer feedback, and technical documentation while contributing to improved service processes and team knowledge.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Medical Devices Technology, or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in technical service, field engineering, maintenance, or repair of medical equipment or similar healthcare/electronics environments.
- Experience with patient monitors, vital signs equipment, diagnostic devices, or other medical equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in fast‑paced field environments.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel within Peru and occasionally internationally as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to healthcare professionals, customers, buyers, and technicians.
- Very good Spanish and good English, with English proficiency valued for internal coordination, technical documentation, and communication with international teams.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, organized, and committed to delivering reliable, high‑quality technical service.
