The De Castroverde Law Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal with experience in removal defense to join our immigration team.
The idóneo candidate is passionate about helping individuals navigate complex immigration matters and has a strong understanding of immigration court procedures, case management, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with all aspects of removal defense cases before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)
Prepare and file applications, motions, briefs, exhibits, and supporting documentation
Draft legal correspondence, declarations, and other case-related documents
Maintain accurate case files and monitor court deadlines
Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, document requests, and upcoming hearings
Coordinate filings with Immigration Courts, USCIS, ICE, EOIR, and other government agencies
Conduct legal and factual research as directed by attorneys




Prepare hearing packets and assist with trial preparationTranslate and interpret documents when applicable
Ensure compliance with all filing requirements and procedural deadlines
Qualification
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Minimum of 2 years of immigration paralegal experience, with a focus on removal defense
Strong knowledge of EOIR procedures and immigration court processes
Experience preparing asylum applications, cancellation of removal applications, waivers, motions to reopen, and other removal-related filing
