Role Description The Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Lima Peru, responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project plans and specifications, performing detailed quantity takeoffs, and gathering pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors. The Estimator will analyze labor, material, and equipment costs, prepare bid proposals and budgets, and update estimates as project scope or market conditions change. This role collaborates with project managers, sales teams, and operations staff to clarify requirements, identify risks,



and ensure estimates align with client expectations and company standards. The Estimator also maintains organized records of estimates, supports value-engineering efforts, and contributes to continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes.

Qualifications

- Ability to prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid proposals using relevant estimating tools or software.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the capacity to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and office software; experience with estimating or project management software is beneficial.
- Understanding of construction or commercial project processes, cost drivers, and market pricing; prior estimating experience is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Lima Peru.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
