The Job

As a Lead Lifeguard for Pool at Vdara, you will provide leadership and support within a serene, boutique pool environment by ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall enjoyment of every guest. You will model exceptional guest service through a welcoming, attentive approach while overseeing lifeguard operations, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with all procedures and standards. By understanding guests’ individual needs and creating a calm, well‑managed atmosphere, you will help deliver personalized experiences and memorable WOW moments that reflect Vdara’s focus on relaxation, wellness, and elevated hospitality.

THE STARTING RATE: $17.87 Hourly





The Day-to-day
- Oversee the pool staff to meet safety standards, service delivery, cleanliness and ambiance; work with supporting departments to meet operational needs of the area.
- Ensure the staff is providing safety by watching over water and deck areas and responding to emergency situations; adhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the property.
- Report all guests and employee incidents/accidents to a supervisor and complete needed documentation.
- Ensure the staff is proactively greeting and interacting with guests while adhering to company service standards.
- Assist guests with pool side needs to include seating, towels, hours of operations, ADA requirements, amenities, directions and other needs.
