The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Associate Director of Career & Professional Development, Lee Business School [R0153023]. ROLE of the POSITION The Career & Professional Development Associate Director serves as a career coach and advisor for Lee Business School students, with a focus on graduate students and support for undergraduate students. The position provides individualized and group career coaching to help students select career paths, conduct job and internship searches, develop networking strategies, strengthen interviewing skills, and navigate other career-related challenges.

The Associate

Director designs and delivers career development workshops, classroom presentations, and professional programming that equip students with the long-term career management, adaptability, and employability skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving business environment. In addition, the position serves as a key liaison to employers and corporate partners, fostering recruiting relationships and connecting students with internship and full‑time employment opportunities. Through these responsibilities, the position enhances career readiness, supports student success, and strengthens engagement between Lee Business School and the business community.

For more information, visit us online at: https://www.unlv.edu/business/career-services Minimum Qualifications This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, Human Resources Management, Counseling, MBA, or related field from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 4 to 7 years of experience in university career services, recruitment & hiring, or career advising/coaching.

Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.





Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, Human Resources Management, Counseling, MBA, or related fields and 5 – 7 years of direct work experience in university career services. SALARY Minimum starting salary is $68,500.00. This position is contingent upon funding.
