Role Description The Fundraiser at Intinauta Research Center is a full-time, on-site role based in Lima, focused on securing financial support to advance the organization’s research initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and researching potential donors, partners, and funding opportunities; preparing compelling proposals, grant applications, and presentations; and maintaining accurate records of donor interactions and contributions. The Fundraiser will coordinate fundraising campaigns and events, manage donor communications, and collaborate with internal teams to align funding needs with program priorities.

The role also involves tracking fundraising performance, preparing reports for leadership, and ensuring all activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit resource mobilization, preferably within research, education, or scientific organizations.
- Strong skills in donor research, prospect identification, and relationship management, with the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships.




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing, grant writing, and presentation skills in clear, professional en_US.
- Solid organizational and project management abilities, including planning campaigns, coordinating events, and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Comfort working with data, CRM or donor management systems, and basic budgeting or financial tracking tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, and to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to ethical fundraising practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Administration, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Fluency in Spanish, with strong proficiency in English; prior experience working in Lima or the broader Peruvian context is an advantage.
