Trader Development Programme | Peru

Altamira Trade AG is seeking experienced professionals interested in building a long-term career in the metals and minerals trading industry.

We are offering two positions within our
Trader Development Programme-Peru
, a structured two-year training and development initiative based in Bolivia. The programme is designed to prepare future traders for opportunities across Altamira's global trading platform, including Peru and other international markets.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commodities traffic, operations, logistics, or contract administration.

• Strong knowledge of the metals and minerals sector.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Willingness to relocate to Bolivia for the duration of the programme.

• Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills.

Selection Process

1. CV screening.
2. Written assessment.
3. Technical and commercial interviews.
4. Final assessment in Lima, Peru.

Programme Structure

Phase 1





Participants will join the Altamira Bolivia traffic desk, gaining hands-on experience in contract administration, logistics, and operational execution.

Phase 2

Participants will progressively assume commercial responsibilities, manage customer and supplier relationships, and contribute to business development activities, including regular travel to mining regions across Bolivia.

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be considered for trader opportunities within Altamira's general trading network, including Peru and other locations where business needs and opportunities exist.
