In this position...

The open position is for a Process Engineer within the CNC machining team. This role specializes in the "hands-on" management and optimization of the production environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring processes support the highest standards of precision and efficiency in the manufacturing of critical engine components. These processes include grinding, polishing, turning, honing, drilling,



and milling, and involve materials such as Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI), Forged Steel, and Aluminum. You will collaborate closely with maintenance, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance machine uptime, and drive continuous improvements.

What you'll do...
- Provide daily engineering support on the shop floor (60-70% of time) to resolve production, quality, and maintenance challenges.
- Identify and lead small-scale improvement projects focused on reducing downtime and improving Quality Metrics.
- Utilize AutoCAD and 3D Modeling software to design, modify, and manage technical drawings and process layouts.
- Leverage 3D printing capabilities for rapid prototyping, specialized tooling aids, and shop floor solutions.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance team to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement technical solutions to prevent recurrence.
