Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant / Medical Biller

EZ MD Solutions is looking for a Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant / Medical Biller to support a U.S.-based healthcare client remotely.

The idóneo candidate has hands-on experience with U.S. medical insurance workflows, with strong expertise in insurance eligibility and benefits verification.

Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits accurately.
- Review coverage, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and other benefit details.
- Handle medical billing and insurance-related workflows.
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims.
- Assist with denial management and claim resolution.
- Support prior authorization processes.
- Maintain accurate patient and insurance records.
- Communicate professionally with healthcare teams and insurance providers.
- Follow established U.S. healthcare and billing procedures.

Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Hands-on experience with U.S. healthcare insurance and medical billing.




- Strong experience with insurance eligibility and benefits verification — this is the top priority.
- Knowledge of claims submission and follow-up.
- Understanding of denial management.
- Familiarity with prior authorizations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience with EHR/EMR or medical billing systems is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Biller, Medical Assistant, Insurance Verification Specialist, or similar healthcare role.
- Experience working directly with U.S.-based healthcare providers or medical practices.
- Experience handling multiple insurance payers and verification portals.
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare terminology and workflows.
