Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Remote Chat Support Specialist. The specialist will handle incoming customer inquiries via chat, provide timely and accurate information about HS Engineering’s services, and assist clients in resolving basic technical and account-related issues. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting common questions, guiding users through online resources and documentation, escalating complex technical cases to the appropriate team, and recording interaction details in support systems. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to improve support materials, identifying recurring issues, and maintaining a professional, clear, and courteous communication style in all client interactions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Support and Technical Support skills to assist clients effectively and address service-related questions.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, interpret information, and propose practical solutions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written English and the ability to explain technical concepts in a straightforward way.
- Basic understanding of renewable or solar energy solutions, or a willingness to learn quickly, is beneficial.
- Experience using live chat platforms, ticketing systems, or CRM tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and maintain reliable internet connectivity.
- Prior experience in customer service, technical support, or a related field is preferred but not required.
