REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related careers. Knowledge of electrical systems, electric vehicles, EV charging infrastructure, fast-charging technology and project coordination is required.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical projects, EV charging infrastructure, energy, technical coordination, field operations or related activities. Experience in electric mobility, charginf infrastructure, or energy projects is highly desirable.

Language:

English: Fluent –Professional proficiency in speaking, writing and reading.

FUNCTIONS

Project Planning & Coordination

- Coordinate fast-charging infrastructure projects in Peru from technical planning through installation and commissioning, tracking schedules, milestones, deliverables and budgets.
- Liaise with BYD headquarters and regional technical teams on equipment specifications, product updates and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with local partners, contractors and suppliers for civil works, electrical installations, grid upgrades and on-site services.
- Coordinate with Commercial, After-Sales, Logistics, Finance and other internal teams, as well as customers, partners, suppliers, utilities and authorities, to ensure aligned project execution.

Site Evaluation & Feasibility
- Conduct site surveys and evaluate the technical feasibility of locations for fast-charging stations.
- Review electrical infrastructure requirements, including power capacity, connections, protection systems and regulatory constraints.
- Monitor applicable technical standards,



electrical regulations and public policies for EV charging in Peru.
- Identify and develop local partners capable of delivering electrical works, grid upgrades, equipment installation and maintenance.

Installation, Commissioning & Operations
- Coordinate the installation, testing, commissioning and handover of fast chargers.
- Monitor station performance and coordinate corrective actions for technical or operational issues.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with authorized service providers.
- Provide first-level technical follow-up for charger failures, alarms, communication issues and equipment incidents.

Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain an updated database of installed stations, project status, equipment information, technical documentation and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate the collection and preparation of technical documentation, including installation requirements, manuals, test reports and commissioning records.
- Support homologation, certification, registration and import processes for charging equipment and related products.
- Prepare technical reports and regular updates on project progress, operational performance and incidents.

Logistics, Cost Analysis & Business Development
- Coordinate with Logistics on transportation, delivery and availability of charging stations and related equipment.
- Analyze electricity tariffs, energy costs, operational costs and other factors affecting fast-charging projects.
- Prepare cost models, business cases and profitability analysis for infrastructure projects.
- Identify new fast-charging opportunities and potential strategic locations in Peru.
