Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Virtual Assistant / Account Manager to support a high-producing US broker. In this role, you will take ownership of accounts immediately following initial discovery, managing the entire quoting and submission pipeline from start to finish.

The idóneo candidate brings deep expertise in Agriculture , Middle-Market Commercial accounts , and Captive insurance prospects . Your core mission is to manage technical underwriting workflows, market submissions, and proposal prep so the lead Producer can focus entirely on relationship-building, strategy, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

- Submission Preparation & ACORDs: Complete detailed ACORD forms and specialized supplemental applications. Organize complex exposure data, including loss runs, equipment/property schedules, payrolls, vehicle/driver lists, and farm/commercial operations details.
- Carrier Portal & Underwriter Management: Enter carrier portals, submit complete market packages to underwriters, aggressively follow up on pending submissions, and retrieve quotes.
- Underwriting Analysis: Proactively identify missing risk information, address underwriting concerns, and resolve coverage gaps early in the process.




- Quote Comparisons & Proposals: Compile detailed quote comparisons, coverage reviews, and client-ready proposals for both standard-market and captive insurance submissions.
- Producer Support: Function as a seamless back-office partner, keeping the pipeline moving efficiently from discovery to bind.

Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 2–3+ years of direct experience in US Commercial Lines insurance as an Account Manager, Underwriting Assistant, or Specialized VA.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record handling Agriculture / Agribusiness and Middle-Market Commercial risks. Experience with or strong working knowledge of Captive Insurance programs is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on mastery of standard ACORD forms, major carrier submission portals, and agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360, EZLynx).
- Skills & Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities for complex loss histories/schedules, and flawless written and verbal English communication.
