The Opportunity

We are looking for an Investment Analyst to join the team supporting Deetken Impact’s Ilu Fund . Working closely with our Investment and Portfolio Officers, you will contribute to both the evaluation of investment opportunities and the ongoing management of a diverse portfolio across Latin America and the Caribbean.

The role combines financial analysis, portfolio monitoring, due diligence, and financial and impact reporting . You will analyze company performance and financial projections, monitor investments, work with financial and impact data, and contribute to the research and analysis that informs investment decisions.

You will also interact with investees and other stakeholders, providing an opportunity to gain exposure to different companies, sectors, and markets while contributing to investments that seek both financial performance and measurable impact.

We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and self-motivated professional who enjoys working with financial information, can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable taking ownership of their work. The adecuado candidate combines strong analytical skills with sound judgment, attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to turn complex information into clear insights.

What You’ll Do

As an Investment Analyst, you will work closely with Ilu’s Investment and Portfolio Officers,



contributing to both new investment opportunities and the ongoing management of the fund’s portfolio.

Investment Analysis & Due Diligence

- Analyze new investment opportunities and investment renewals, including historical financial performance, financial projections, and key investment risks.
- Support due diligence processes and prepare financial analyses, research, reports, and presentations to inform investment decisions.
- Develop and review financial projections and forecasting models.

Portfolio Monitoring & Impact

- Monitor the financial and impact performance of portfolio companies, including covenant compliance and other key indicators.
- Collect, analyze, and report financial and impact data and maintain accurate portfolio and CRM information.
- Contribute to quarterly portfolio reporting and other portfolio management activities, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.

Investee & Team Collaboration

- Engage with investees and other stakeholders to gather information, follow up on portfolio matters, and support strong working relationships.
- Collaborate closely with Investment and Portfolio Officers and other teams across Deetken Impact.
- Contribute to research, internal projects, and initiatives that support the fund’s investment and impact objectives.

What You Bring

- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics,



Business Administration, Industrial Engineering , or a related field with a strong finance or investment focus.
- At least four years of relevant professional experience in impact investing, investment banking, corporate finance, investment analysis, or a closely related field.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyze historical financial statements, cash flows, and company performance and develop robust financial projections and forecasting models.
- Experience supporting investment analysis and due diligence processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with financial data.
- Experience using CRM platforms is required; Salesforce experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and technical writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate conclusions clearly.
- Experience working in Latin America .
- Fluency in both English and Spanish , written and spoken.
- Experience in Deetken Impact’s focus sectors—including climate, gender-lens investing, affordable housing, agriculture, healthcare, and sustainable enterprises—is an asset.

Travel This role requires the willingness and ability to travel up to 12 weeks per year within Latin America and the Caribbean to support investment due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and stakeholder engagement activities.
