We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database & OCI Administrator to join our technology team and support business-critical database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for a DBA who enjoys working with Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), performance optimization, security, automation, and high-availability environments, while collaborating with general and multicultural teams.

? What you’ll do

You will be responsible for the availability, performance, security, integrity, and operational continuity of Oracle database platforms.

Your responsibilities will include

- Administering and supporting Oracle Database environments on-premises and in the cloud.
- Managing Oracle database services running on OCI and supporting AWS RDS for Oracle when required.
- Performing database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and Critical Patch Updates (CPU).
- Monitoring and optimizing SQL, execution plans, indexes, memory, storage, tablespaces, and database parameters.
- Managing backup, restore, and recovery processes using Oracle RMAN.
- Supporting High Availability, Disaster Recovery, replication, clustering, and failover solutions.
- Managing users, roles, privileges, service accounts, security baselines, and encryption controls.




- Supporting privileged access management solutions such as CyberArk.
- Performing proactive capacity planning and troubleshooting performance, connectivity, storage, and data integrity issues.
- Supporting database migrations, refreshes, upgrades, and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Automating DBA activities using SQL, PL/SQL, Bash, Python, and related technologies.
- Participating in Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform.
- Working with GitHub/Bitbucket and CI/CD processes related to database changes.
- Participating in Incident, Problem, Change, Security, and Disaster Recovery processes.

? What we’re looking for

✔ 3–5+ years of professional database administration experience, with strong hands-on Oracle Database expertise.

✔ Production experience administering Oracle Database environments.

✔ Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database services.

✔ Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, RMAN, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

✔ Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) or equivalent monitoring tools.

✔ Experience with database security, patching, upgrades, authentication, roles, privileges, and encryption.

✔ Practical knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts.

✔ Scripting/automation experience with Bash and/or Python.

✔ Knowledge of cloud networking related to database services.

✔ Experience with ticketing and Change Management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.





✔ Advanced spoken and written English is mandatory, as the role requires daily interaction with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders in the United States.

⭐ Nice to have

Experience with Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC, OCI Database Systems, Autonomous Database, OCI IAM, networking, storage, monitoring and backup, AWS RDS for Oracle, Multi-AZ, read replicas, Terraform, GitHub/Bitbucket, CI/CD, Datadog, or similar enterprise observability platforms.

Oracle Database and/or OCI certifications are a plus.
