Senior Java Tech Lead at BairesDev In this role, you'll be the hands-on tech lead for a reactive, event-driven platform, owning service architecture and API contracts while enforcing Domain-Driven Design principles. Integrating frontend applications with Spring Reactive microservices streaming through Kafka, you'll set engineering standards across testing, code reviews, observability, and security. This is your opportunity to lead both the technical direction and the team itself, guiding deployment practices, mentoring engineers, and partnering with product stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into deliverable work.

What You'll Do

- Own service architecture and API contracts for a reactive, event-driven platform.
- Enforce Domain-Driven Design principles across the engineering team.
- Integrate frontend applications with Spring Reactive microservices streaming through Kafka.
- Set engineering standards for testing, code reviews,



observability, and security.
- Guide deployment and release practices, including CI/CD on cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Mentor engineers and partner with product stakeholders to shape ambiguous requirements into deliverable work.

What We Are Looking For

- 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot with Spring Reactive.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or a comparable messaging platform.
- Experience with Angular 18 and TypeScript.
- Strong background in Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience with microservices and cloud-native architecture.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency, required for cross-team leadership and customer-facing discussions.

Nice To Have

- Experience with AWS.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
