Job Description
Position Purpose
The Finance Superintendent is responsible for leading, supervising, and optimizing all financial activities of the mining projects in Peru, including accounting, cost control, financial planning, treasury, tax, internal controls, payroll and other administrative support. The role ensures the integrity of financial information, supports operational and strategic decision-making,



and guarantees compliance with Peruvian regulatory requirements while safeguarding company assets and contributing to the achievement of the company’s Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)
- Lead the annual budget, forecasts, and medium- and long-term planning processes.
- Analyze variances vs. budget and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for local management and corporate headquarters.
- Develop financial models, sensitivity analyses, and economic evaluations for CAPEX, projects, etc.

Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee the monthly close process in compliance with IFRS and the Peruvian chart of accounts (PCGR).
- Ensure accurate accounting of costs, liabilities, consumptions, assets, and provisions.
- Manage the Fixed Assets module, reconciliations, depreciation, and disposals.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, as well as reviews requested by banks or regulatory entities (DAC, MINEM, etc).
