We are seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist with a focus on gold mining. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing exploration programs, geological mapping, data interpretation, and ensuring that exploration targets are met. This role requires a proactive approach to discovering new resources and contributing to the company's growth.

Key Accountabilities:

- Adhere to all safety procedures, identify hazards, report incidents, and work safely at all times.

- Design and implement exploration drilling programs, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

- Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and data collection in the field.

- Analyze and interpret geological data to identify potential gold deposits.

- Collaborate with geophysical and geochemical teams to integrate multi-disciplinary data.

- Prepare detailed geological reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements during exploration activities.

- Maintain accurate records and databases of geological information.





- Utilize exploration software (e.g., ArcGIS, Leapfrog) for data analysis and visualization.

- Foster relationships with local communities and stakeholders to support exploration activities.

- Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and improvement in exploration methods.

Requirements

- BSc in Geology or higher-level qualifications.

- Prior experience in mineral exploration, specifically in gold.

- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

- Strong understanding of exploration techniques, geological mapping, and data interpretation.

- Proficiency in exploration software such as ArcGIS, Leapfrog, and other relevant tools.

- Ability to work in remote and challenging environments.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
