At DeployGuru, a DevOps and software engineering consultancy, we're looking for a very senior Mobile Engineer for a 6+ month engagement supporting a client in the US.
What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain a mobile app built in React Native, with a Node.js/Next.js backend
- Work in a regulated environment, with an extra layer of security for authentication (they use AWS Cognito)
- Bring best practices for automated deployment and mobile app testing
- Work with Expo and TestFlight (or help us integrate them more fully if they're not yet in heavy use)
- Actively use AI tools in your development workflow
Requirements:
- Solid, verifiable experience as a senior Mobile Engineer, ideally with high-traffic or regulated apps in production
- Strong command of React Native and responsive design
- Experience with Node.js/Next.js on the backend
- A plus: prior experience with Cognito or other auth systems with extra security layers
- A plus: deployment automation (CI/CD) for mobile apps
- Advanced English (written and spoken), required — you'll work directly with a US-based client
