Healthcare Software Engineer at BairesDev

As a Healthcare Software Engineer, you will develop mission-critical systems that handle sensitive medical data with the highest standards of security and efficiency. You will play a key role in integrating complex health records with modern software architectures to improve patient care delivery.

What You'll Do

- Architect and develop secure, high-performance systems compliant with healthcare industry regulations.
- Design and manage robust data pipelines for the secure handling of protected health information.
- Facilitate seamless data exchange between internal platforms and major electronic health record systems.
- Implement comprehensive audit trails and security protocols to ensure complete data integrity.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex healthcare requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Optimize system interoperability using industry-standard communication protocols.

What We Are Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on healthcare systems.
- Proven expertise in building HIPAA-compliant systems and handling PHI.
- Hands-on experience with EHR integrations such as Epic, Cerner, or AthenaHealth.
- Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR.
- Strong background in implementing audit logging and security protocols for medical data.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
