Role Description The Destination Manager is a contract, remote role responsible for building and running Origin Roads’ Peru program from itinerary design through post-trip follow-up.

Responsibilities include developing the day-by-day itinerary in partnership with the founder; sourcing and negotiating with accommodations, transport, and licensed local guides; securing permits and rail allocations in advance of high season; monitoring trip logistics in real time; resolving operational issues before they reach the guest; supporting sales with destination expertise; and maintaining the cost records that Honest Ledger pricing depends on.

This is a partnership role with real ownership of a destination, not an execution role against someone else’s plan.

Qualifications





- Based in Peru with extensive on-the-ground experience across Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Lima
- Established supplier relationships with hotels, transport operators, and licensed guides
- Demonstrated ability to secure Machu Picchu permits and Vistadome rail allocations during high season
- Experience running ground operations for international leisure groups, ideally at the premium end
- Native-level Spanish and professional fluency in English; Quechua a significant advantage
- Strong negotiation skills and comfort managing supplier costs transparently
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics across multiple concurrent departures
- Reliable internet access and strong independent time management
- Background in tour operations, DMC work, or hospitality**
