Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Field Engineer or Technician to join our Peru team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will support a range of field and technical activities across geotechnical, environmental, and civil construction projects, primarily in the context of mine closure and environmental management. Core duties include conducting soils and geotechnical field investigations (test pits, boreholes, soil and rock logging, and sampling),



downloading and managing data from environmental and geotechnical monitoring instrumentation, and providing technical support for the installation and maintenance of monitoring equipment. The role also involves supervising earthworks and civil construction activities and carrying out construction quality assurance (CQA) duties including field density testing and construction documentation. This is a field-intensive position with office-based data management responsibilities, suited to a candidate who is comfortable working in variable site conditions and who takes pride in data quality and technical rigor.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct soils and geotechnical field investigations, including test pit excavation supervision and borehole drilling supervision.

Log soil and rock core samples from boreholes and test pits in accordance with established classification standards (e.g., USCS, Unified Soil Classification System).
