Role Description:
Maintaining aircraft and their associated engines and sub-systems to ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is completed and aircraft airworthiness.
Responsibilities
- Repairs, replaces,
and rebuilds aircraft structural components such as cowlings and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units.
- Inspects engines and associated components for airworthiness.
- Removes and installs engines, props or rotor blades, transmissions, flight controls and other aircraft components.
- Read and interpret original equipment manufacturer and program maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other related documentation to determine feasibility and method of altering or repairing the aircraft and its associated components.
- Determines the airworthiness of the aircraft and its associated components.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces electrical wiring and associated components.
- Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including hydraulic system servicing, engine oil replenishment, aircraft systems lubrication, aircraft fueling, etc.
