What you'll do
- Oversee the comprehensive finance operations, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing processes across diverse jurisdictions within the APAC region.
- Manage bank reconciliations, asset tracking, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations, while also supervising accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial records by validating accounting entries, accruals, and payment requests,
thereby maintaining the integrity of financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to coordinate statutory, tax, and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Lead the external audit process, acting as the primary liaison for auditors and tax consultants to facilitate smooth and efficient audits.
- Direct the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts for the APAC vertical, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Develop and implement financial models and scenario analyses that provide insights to support key business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve the efficiency of financial reporting and operations.
- Mentor and guide a regional team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
