A industrial component manufacturing company is seeking a Sr Human Resources Generalist to support HR initiatives for their production facility inthe Quad Cities. Responsibilities include performing duties that support HR policy and goals to promote a “high-performance” culture.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Partner with HR leadership and company management to implement initiatives that support the companies’ long-term objectives
- Establish strong working relationships with supervisors to support as coach in HR related issues
- Perform operational tasks related to employee relations, policy administration, onboarding, training, benefits, reporting & compliance
- Act as primary contact to employees regarding policy, benefits, employee relations and other HR subject matter
- Align department with organizational growth and change through staffing, talent development, organization design, performance management and succession planning




- Utilize reporting tools to acquire and analyze metrics to support data driven decision-making

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 5 plus years’ experience as an HR Generalist or similar function in a manufacturing environment
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resources
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form at all levels of an organization
- Confident and assertive personality that can act decisively in difficult and critical situations
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Must have strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
