We're hiring a Commercial Director whose primary focus is Merchant Activation, Management, and Acquisition — someone who turns signed merchants into producing ones and leads the team that does it. This is a build-and-sell role, not a manage-from-the-corner-office one — if you want a seat where your decisions immediately move the business, read on.

The role.Reporting directly to the CEO, your primary focus is Merchant Activation, Management, and Acquisition — in that order. We're good at signing merchants; the prize is making them produce. Your first mandate is to optimize our existing book and to build the playbook that keeps every new merchant producing every day. You'll lead a team of 12 — 4 Field Implementation Specialists, 5 Key Account Managers, and 3 Business Development reps — and design and hire the structure to scale it. You'll be expected to produce results in your first quarter, not your third.





What you'll own — your three primary jobs, in priority order
- Activation:get signed merchants live, ramped, and producing — and reactivate the ones that stalled. Your field implementation team is the engine here.
- Management:grow, retain, and deepen producing merchant accounts (your KAMs).
- Acquisition:keep quality new merchants coming — and make sure we sign the ones that will actually produce (your BD reps).
- Plus the number end to end (activation rate, volume per merchant, portfolio growth), the commercial org (targets, process, incentives, management layers as you scale), and C-level negotiations with large merchants.

What we're looking for
- 6+ years leading commercial teams, including personally carrying and hitting aggressive quotas.
- A track record of activation, not just acquisition:your accounts produce, and you can show what moved the numbers.
