The General Technology Manager, ICP is a senior-level technical leadership role responsible for the development, implementation, transfer and continuous improvement of ICP-OES and ICP-MS laboratory methodologies, systems and procedures across SGS's global Minerals network.
The position provides global technical expertise in analytical instrumentation, method development, quality assurance, laboratory efficiency and technology advancement. The role works closely with laboratory leaders, technical specialists, equipment manufacturers and commercial teams to ensure SGS remains at the forefront of analytical science and continues to deliver high-quality, efficient and innovative geochemical testing services.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Innovation
- Lead research and development activities for ICP-OES and ICP-MS methodologies to maintain SGS's position at the forefront of analytical science.
- Develop, validate and implement new analytical methods for emerging sample types, commodities and client requirements.
- Monitor industry developments and emerging technologies, recommending enhancements to SGS analytical capabilities.
