About the Roles

The Shire of Esperance is looking to establish a talent pool to fill immediate and future casual vacancies at the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre. All positions assure Centre programs and services are delivered in a safe, inclusive environment while providing an excellent customer experience.

Swim School Instructors

In this position you will provide swimming lessons to groups, schools and individuals within the Bay of Isles Swim School Program guidelines.



You will work to ensure a professional, safe, fun and educational environment is maintained and supervise students during swim classes at the highest standard of safety.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate or equivalent
- A current Working With Children Check
- A current Apply First Aid Certificate

Lifeguards

This role involves providing the highest level of safety and supervision for the patrons of the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre aquatic area. You will ensure the Centre is set up, clean and safe for customers at all times, administering first aid if and when required.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- A current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- A current Provide First Aid Certificate
- A current Working With Children Check
- Experience in supervision of aquatic areas
- Excellent customer service skills
