Role Description The Senior Web Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cusco, Peru, responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of Peru Volunteer and Travel’s web platforms.



This role involves building and optimizing front-end user interfaces and back-end services to improve the volunteer application process, project listings, and information pages. The Senior Web Developer will collaborate with program coordinators and leadership to translate organizational needs into robust technical solutions, ensuring the website is secure, accessible, and easy to use. Daily responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, and documenting web applications, managing integrations with external tools, and monitoring site performance and usability. The role also includes mentoring junior developers or contractors, recommending technical improvements, and supporting digital initiatives that enhance volunteer engagement and visibility.
