Databricks Data Engineer (Apache Spark) at BairesDev

As a Databricks Data Engineer, you will design and develop large-scale data processing systems to handle complex batch and streaming workloads. You will serve as a critical link between raw data streams and actionable insights, ensuring high performance, scalability, and robust cloud data architectures across the organization.

What You'll Do

Design, implement, and optimize robust data pipelines to handle large-scale data workflows.




Build efficient data architectures using modern lakehouse and warehouse platforms.
Optimize processing jobs for peak performance, resource allocation, and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into future-ready data structures.
Ensure data integrity, reliable ingestion, and clean data modeling across cloud environments.

What We Are Looking For

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
Proven expertise in building and managing data pipelines using Apache Spark and Databricks.
Strong proficiency in large-scale data processing and optimization.
Hands-on experience with cloud data architectures and data modeling.
Advanced proficiency in English.
