Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead to support the Latin American region.
The Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead focuses on strategic business development, possessing a solid track record in the design, deployment, and operation of critical infrastructure (ports, airports, and logistics hubs). The idóneo candidate must combine an advanced technical vision in operational safety and cybersecurity (IT/OT)—enabling the movement or inspection of goods for dispatch—with the ability to identify new market opportunities, translating complex client needs and industry technology trends into compelling commercial proposals, robust protection architectures, and technical procurement specifications.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Business Development
- Lead the identification, maturation, and capture of new business opportunities in the critical infrastructure sector (ports, airports, and logistics hubs) in Latin America,
translating complex client needs into technical cybersecurity and physical security (IT/OT) proposals.
- Act as AECOM's technical point of contact in the region for cargo transport security solutions, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and technology partners within the logistics ecosystem.
IT (Information Technology)
Traditional IT systems:
- Corporate networks (LAN/WAN)
- Servers and databases
- Enterprise systems (ERP, email, cloud)
- Information management
- Define comprehensive security architectures for complex environments (IT/OT).
OT (Operational Technology)
Systems that control physical processes and infrastructure:
- Automation of ports, airports, trains
- Traffic control systems, cranes, conveyor belts, power systems
- Physical security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.)
