Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in Lima, San Isidro. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and provides technical expertise while coordinating external sources to effectively complete project or study requirements. Senior engineers may act as Lead Engineers when necessary and will communicate and transfer information between all disciplines.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the structural engineering and drafting project team.
- Provide structural designs that meet process, project, and client requirements.




- Prepare concrete and structural steel designs that comply with study or project specific codes and standards.
- Undertake structural designs within agreed dates and man‑hour budgets.
- Enable effective and timely completion of structural designs and drawings through provision of design input.

Qualifications
- University Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- English language speaking, reading, and writing.
- More than 8 years post‑graduation, with heavy industrial or mining experience preferred.
- Familiarity with mining industry and/or process plant design.
- Ability to manage effectively the interaction with the Client on design and drafting issues.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform allocated tasks unsupervised within agreed milestone dates and to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
