Position Overview Under the direction of the Manager of Support Services, the cook/baker ensures the dietary needs of patients, employees, and customers are met on a daily basis.

Experience - Previous experience working in a hospital setting.

- Previous experience in a dietary/food service setting.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) - Grade 12 education or equivalent.

- Successful completion of a recognized food preparation program.
- Food Handler’s Certificate.

Qualifications and Skills - Knowledge of therapeutic diets.

- Knowledge and/or certification in WHMIS.

Physical Requirements - Bending and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.

- Use of sharp tools such as knives and industrial equipment.
- Long periods of time standing during each shift.
