About FieldSurf
FieldSurf is a cloud-based field service management platform that helps service businesses manage scheduling, dispatching, technicians, customers, GPS tracking, inventory, communication, invoicing, and business operations.
Our platform is used by both office personnel and technicians working in the field, making performance, reliability, mobile functionality, and excellent UI/UX essential to the product.
We are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer who can independently develop production features across our frontend, backend, database, and mobile-connected ecosystem.

What You'll Do
- You must be a team player
- Design, develop, test, and deploy production features.
- Build applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Develop server-side functionality using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs.
- Work with Supabase services including database and authentication.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL queries and data structures.
- Build responsive, mobile-first user interfaces.
- Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into production applications.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs.
- Troubleshoot problems across frontend, backend, database, and deployment layers.
- Improve application performance and reliability.
- Implement appropriate authentication, authorization, and application security.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Participate actively in code reviews.
- Deploy applications through Vercel and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Work with Jira to plan and manage development work.
- Support functionality shared between the web platform and iOS/Android applications.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing functionality and user workflows.
- Document technical decisions and application functionality. UI/UX Responsibilities
We want developers who care about more than whether a feature technically works.
You should be comfortable
- Building polished interfaces from designs.
- Working with Figma or similar design tools.
- Implementing responsive and mobile-first layouts.
- Creating reusable component libraries.
- Identifying confusing user workflows.
- Suggesting practical UI/UX improvements.
- Maintaining visual consistency throughout an application.
- Considering accessibility and usability.
- Testing interfaces across desktop, tablet, iOS, and Android.
Requirements
- Approximately 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
- Professional React experience.
- Experience with Next.js or ability to demonstrate strong equivalent React framework experience.
- Professional Node.js/backend development experience.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong relational database and SQL knowledge.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows.
- Understanding of automated testing.
- Experience debugging production applications.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles.
- Ability to independently implement moderately complex features.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a distributed remote team.
Mobile Application
Experience
Experience working with iOS and/or Android applications is strongly preferred.
Relevant experience may include

Candidates do not necessarily need to be dedicated mobile developers, but should understand how web/backend functionality interacts with mobile applications.

What We Value The successful candidate should be able to receive a business requirement, understand the underlying problem, propose a practical technical solution, implement it, test it, and help deliver it to production without requiring detailed instructions for every step.
We especially value developers who think about the customer experience, not only the code.
Compensation
Recommended target range: S/6,000 – S/9,000 gross per month, depending on experience, English proficiency, mobile experience, technical depth, and employment arrangement.
Exceptional candidates with strong Next.js/Node.js/Supabase and mobile experience may justify compensation above this range.
Location
Peru – Fully Remote
Candidates should be based in Peru.
