What you'll do

- - Lead and manage all hotel operations, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and a memorable experience throughout their stay.
- - Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- - Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of hotel staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- - Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining high standards of service and quality.
- - Collaborate with the marketing team to promote hotel offerings and develop packages that attract both local and international guests.
- - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
- - Manage guest feedback and complaints effectively, using insights to improve service delivery and overall guest experience.
- - Coordinate with various departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations across the hotel.
- - Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in hotel services.
- - Organize and oversee special events, ensuring that all logistical details are handled efficiently and to the satisfaction of guests.




- - Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and partners to enhance service offerings and support the local community.
- - Regularly review hotel performance metrics and implement strategies to drive occupancy and revenue growth.

Requirements

- - A minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
- - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with guests and staff alike.
- - Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- - Familiarity with hotel management software and technology, with a willingness to adapt to new systems.
- - A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
- - Fluency in both English and Spanish is required; additional languages are a plus.

Nice to have

- - Experience in eco-tourism or working in remote locations is advantageous.
- - Knowledge of local culture and attractions in the Iquitos region to enhance guest experiences.
