About the position
The idóneo candidate will be responsible for the sales of Special Steels products within the Peruvian mining sector, including mining companies, mining equipment repair operations, fabrication workshops, and mining subcontractors.
This role will focus on developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, promoting wear-resistant steel solutions, identifying new applications and business opportunities, and expanding SSAB's presence across the Peruvian mining market.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with mining customers and key accounts.
Visit and educate customers with the right application and use of our steels in the mining, repair and subcontractor mining equipment segments together with our Technical Development Manager.
Develop new wear-related applications and business opportunities.
Establish short and long terms sales strategies for the mining segment while supporting the Hardox Wearparts network and fabrication partners in Peru.
Manage customer demand, sales forecasts,
and material availability to ensure high service levels and customer satisfaction.
Strengthen SSAB's market presence through customer engagement, industry events, technical presentations, and business development activities.
Maintain accurate report, forecast, and account management while working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Technical, Marketing, and Finance.
Required
About you
Engineering bachelor’s degree with sales experience in a related product field or exhibit skills developed in other positions.
Knowledge of market dynamics relative to the Peruvian mining business.
Responsible for large accounts, including interacting with upper management & purchasing departments.
Strong communication skills - oral and written, ability to write proposals and develop strong interpersonal relationships.
Proficient in English language – Both oral and written.
Availability to travel 60% of the time
