About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Email & SMS Marketing Manager to own and grow the company’s retention marketing program. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic planning, creative execution, performance analysis, and operational management.
The ideal candidate will take full ownership of email and SMS marketing initiatives, including campaign planning, automation development, copywriting, design, deployment, reporting, and optimization. They should be highly analytical, systems-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of driving measurable revenue growth through customer retention and lifecycle marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage the monthly email and SMS marketing calendar.
Plan and execute promotional campaigns aligned with overall business objectives.




Create and refine customer segmentation strategies to improve targeting, engagement, and list health.
Build, maintain, and optimize automated marketing flows, including: Welcome sequences, post-purchase campaigns, browse abandonment flows, win-back campaigns and customer retention automations.
Write compelling email and SMS copy that aligns with the company's brand voice.
Design and format marketing emails using existing brand guidelines and creative assets.
Build, schedule, test, and deploy email campaigns through Klaviyo.
Manage SMS campaigns through Postscript or similar platforms.
Coordinate campaign approvals with leadership prior to deployment.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including: Revenue attribution, open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, subscriber growth, list health metrics.
