Position Overview
Audio Operator
Position Responsibilities
Perform various audio editorial and QC duties across multiple Deluxe workflows/projects:
Dialogue editorial of voice recordings
Audio QC of vendor delivered and internally recorded audio files
Packaging app processing of all assigned audio files
Ensure a solid technical understanding of dialogue editorial, processing and EQ for voice recording.
Maintain a strong technical grasp of quality control for voice recordings, voice performance and TTS project requirements.
Master all required tools and platforms across Deluxe and external client or vendor systems.
Perform audio engineer duties with in-studio and/or remote recording sessions where needed, collaborating with directors, performers and creative supervisors.
Be adept at quickly learning new tools and environments related to audio and postproduction, specifically in the text-to-speech, localization and accessibility spaces.
Operate internal and external Ai TTS voice generation tools for localization and audio description projects, including analyzing and editing text for appropriate dubbing adaptation and AD description.
