Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in San Isidro.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures.
The tasks you'll perform
- Conduct timely reviews of Project mechanical drawings to achieve full compliance with design intent.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities where necessary to achieve agreed deliverables to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Perform accurate engineering design and calculations.




- Interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications and scopes.
- Identify scope variations and prepare relevant documentation accordingly.
- Liaise with and provide professional support to drafting team in the preparation of drawing deliverables.
- Develop technical documentation including scopes of work and specifications using relevant industry standards and guidelines.
- Produce accurate engineering lists including but not limited to: equipment, lubrication, spares, valves, pipe line and special work.
- Provide accurate material take-offs as and when required.
- Evaluate tenders and provide technical recommendations for the purchase of mechanical equipment from vendors where necessary.
- Review vendor certified documentation and disseminate the information to the appropriate personnel for interface checking.
- Assist with the delivery of engineering documentation in relation to scope, quantities
