Tigg's Canteen Services is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Kitchen Manager to oversee daily food service operations at the Miami County Jail in Peru, Indiana. As Kitchen Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. You'll supervise daily kitchen operations, support your team, and help maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
- Lead, train,



and support kitchen staff.
- Assist with food preparation, baking, cooking, serving, and clean-up.
- Ensure company recipes, portion control, and food safety standards are followed.
- Maintain sanitation and organization throughout the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and product control.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment while maintaining professionalism within a correctional facility.

- Is able to lift up to 50 pounds.
