We are seeking an Operations Technicians to join our Polyethylene 1 (PE1) Team, located at our Joffre Site in Central Alberta, near Red Deer. All levels of experience and ticket levels will be considered. As a member of a plant operations team, you will be supporting the manufacturing process to ensure the safe operation of our facility.



As a member of a plant operations team, you will support the manufacturing process to ensure the safe operation of our facility. This opportunity will allow you to gain valuable operating experience in operations, directly influencing the company's performance.

You Will Use Your Expertise To:
- Safely and reliably operate the process equipment
- Prepare equipment for maintenance and safe work permitting
- Complete area safety checks and respond to hazards in own area
- Provide preventative maintenance of equipment (i.e., rounds and checks, swing pumps)
- Monitor, report and initiate corrective actions for plant operation in responsible area
- Implement changes to operating parameters to optimize unit performance
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the operating unit
- Continually progress through the outside operating areas culminating in the operation of a complex DCS panel
