We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to design and build scalable SaaS and PaaS solutions in an Agile environment. This is a highly hands-on role that combines software development, architecture, technical leadership, and collaboration with engineering teams, product managers, operations, and senior leadership.

The adecuado candidate brings deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, and Express, along with experience with containerized applications and modern AI-assisted engineering tools.

Requisitos 10+ years of experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.

Expert-level experience building single-page applications with Angular 2+.

Expert-level experience developing services, APIs, and microservices with Node.js and Express.

Experience developing containerized applications locally using Docker and working with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Strong understanding of SaaS/PaaS architectures, distributed applications, CI/CD, observability, accessibility, and modern software engineering practices.

Proven ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate across Engineering, Product, Operations, and senior leadership.

Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience using or willingness to work extensively with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code. Responsibilities

Design, develop,



and maintain single-page applications with a Node.js API layer and legacy backend systems, supporting multi-tenant SaaS and PaaS solutions.

Translate current and future business and stakeholder needs into scalable software solutions.

Evaluate new and existing technologies and develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) aligned with organizational goals.

Define high-level application designs and software architecture, clearly communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ensure applications are fast, responsive, mobile-friendly, accessible, and capable of supporting dynamic branding and styling without redeployment.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers while promoting innovation and continuous improvement.

Build highly observable distributed applications to enable effective production troubleshooting and performance monitoring across application layers.

Partner with Operations teams to maintain safe and efficient CI/CD pipelines and support successful product releases.

Create detailed technical specifications covering hardware/software requirements, security considerations, and data management processes.

Leverage GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate development, improve code quality, system understanding, and engineering workflows.
