What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Automated QA Lead to establish and lead our automated quality assurance practice from the ground up. This role is responsible for designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks, defining QA processes and best practices, and mentoring the QA team in automation strategies.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to ensure high-quality software delivery while driving a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise in test automation, leadership skills, and the ability to build processes from scratch.

Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and implement a scalable automated QA strategy from the ground up.
- Select and implement the appropriate automation tools, frameworks, and testing technologies.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs.
- Define QA standards, testing processes, and best practices across the organization.
- Lead the transition from manual to automated testing where appropriate.
- Mentor, train, and support QA Engineers in automation tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation documentation.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.




- Monitor test coverage, quality metrics, and automation effectiveness.
- Continuously evaluate new testing tools and technologies to improve the QA process.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with at least 3 years focused on test automation.
- Previous experience designing and implementing an automation framework from scratch.
- Experience leading QA teams or mentoring Automation Engineers.
- Strong experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
- Experience automating API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Java Script/Type Script, Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and quality engineering principles.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Test Rail, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Familiarity with performance, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience testing REST APIs and modern web applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
