Overview

Ceiba Earth
is a tropical forestry company restoring and improving the management of logging concessions to generate high-integrity carbon removals alongside sustainable forestry, biodiversity, & rural livelihood outcomes.

The Head of Field Operations (Peru)
will lead the planning, execution, and oversight of all Peru-based field operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality implementation across forest concession project sites. This position serves as Ceiba's senior operational lead in Peru and offers significant opportunities for professional growth and leadership as the company expands.

Core Responsibilities
- Field Operations & Project Delivery:
Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of field operations across forest concession sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.



Oversee both forest restoration activities and MRV field programs, ensuring high-quality implementation and data collection.
- Contractor, Crew & Logistics Management:
Manage forestry contractors, including hiring, contract negotiation, work planning, performance oversight, and quality control. Oversee logistics, transportation, equipment, communications, lodging, supplies, and other resources required to support field operations.
- Forest Concession Portfolio Development & Diligence:
Support the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of new forest concession opportunities, including owner engagement, field visits, operational due diligence, and in-field project suitability assessments.
- Budgeting, Performance & Reporting:
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules and operational reporting. Monitor project progress against targets, providing regular updates to company leadership.
