Responsabilities

- Pro-actively monitor, manage and improve availability and performance of the production environments (from presentation and application layers to middleware and databases)




- Provide escalation coverage in the “Follow The Sun” support model
- Pro-actively manage the capacity of production applications
- Customize production tools (monitoring, batch scheduling, backups, deployment tools, automation)
- Provide feedback and propose solutions to management on performance and capacity
- System administration – experience on Windows and Linux/Unix systems : IIS, .NET, WCF, Weblogic Application Server, Apache, Tomcat, Java EE, Nginx
- Monitoring & Scheduling – experience of some of the following preferable: Geneos, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus & DollarUniverse
- Scripting (Python, Shell, SQL....) and development skills for administration, monitoring and support tools. Practice on Ansible / Terraform automation
- Appreciation of production processes, including change and release management; incident and problem management skills, with knowledge of ITIL
- Databases – SQL Server and Oracle
