Role Description
The Environmental Engineer at ESP Consulting will support clients in planning, implementing, and monitoring environmental projects in and around Lima. This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Lima, with a combination of on-site work at client locations and office, plus some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting environmental assessments, preparing technical reports, supporting permitting processes, and advising clients on compliance with local and international environmental regulations. The role involves designing and reviewing treatment and waste management solutions, collecting and analyzing environmental data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to propose practical, sustainable recommendations. The Environmental Engineer will also participate in client meetings, contribute to project proposals, and help maintain quality and safety standards across all engagements.

Qualifications
- Environmental Compliance and Environmental Impact Assessment skills to interpret regulations, prepare studies,



and support permitting and audit processes.
- Wastewater Treatment and Waste Management skills to design, evaluate, and optimize treatment systems and integrated waste handling solutions.
- Environmental Consulting skills to analyze client needs, develop tailored recommendations, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities, including data collection, use of environmental monitoring tools, and preparation of clear technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering or a closely related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid arrangement in Lima, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of Peruvian environmental regulations and familiarity with relevant international standards is highly beneficial.
