Based in IOI City, Putrajaya, the company employs over 1,200 professionals providing a broad spectrum of services to institutional clients across Europe.
The role involves periodic reviews and monitoring activities in line with regulatory requirements of home jurisdictions, providing independent assurance, views, and reports.
Region: APAC Working Hours: 9:00AM – 6:00PM What will you do?
- Manage a compliance manager and support activities, acting as guide, task planning, performance review, and employee process management.
- Provide constructive advisory to line management and executives on regulatory, statutory, and corporate requirements, facilitating design and implementation of in‑house rules, systems, and procedures.
- Monitor statutory and regulatory developments, assess impacts, and identify procedural control requirements for Executive and Line Management.
- Develop, implement, and enforce a compliance framework, preparing and maintaining policies, procedures, manuals, and guidelines ensuring timely compliance.
- Provide compliance training to staff and management including induction, annual training and Group systemic training (Code of Conduct, AML, data privacy).

Information - Prepare progress reports to Group Compliance, Board of Directors, and Management Operations Committee.
- Act as liaison with regulators, law enforcement, and other authorities.
- Lead due diligence program for service providers under the Malaysian office.
- Review non‑compliance risk incidents and privacy incidents, following up action plans.
- Analyze and process cash and securities filtering alerts escalated by the first line of defense. What’s in it for you? Geographical area Asia, Malaysia Education Minimum a tertiary university education at a graduate level, in either a legal, accounting or operations qualified background. Level of minimal experience 6-10 years Experience - Minimum 8-10 years working experience in Compliance, including practical application across subject areas and leadership experience.
Required skills - Mature individual, self‑starter with a confident presence, able to articulate compliance positions among senior executive peers.
- Experience working in a dynamic, high‑stress environment, dealing with multi‑faceted, multi‑disciplinary corporate structure with strong personalities.
- Ability to interact positively with auditors, regulators, and senior leaders across the organization. Technical skills required - Professional designations and awards in Compliance.
- Professional qualifications in project management.
- Experience dealing with regulators in source jurisdictions such as CSSF, OSFI, FSA, Bank of Ireland, MAS, MPFA, AUSTRAC.
