– Banking Domain Expert – Techno-Functional

Position Title: Banking Domain Expert Location: Infosys Peru Role Summary

We are seeking a Banking Domain Expert with strong banking functional knowledge and hands-on experience working closely with development teams during Core Banking implementation and transformation programs.

The candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications, supporting solution design discussions, guiding development teams, reviewing configurations, and ensuring that delivered solutions align with business needs, local banking regulations, and operational requirements.

This role requires a blend of banking domain expertise, business analysis skills, and technology understanding to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities





Business & Functional Analysis

Conduct requirement gathering workshops with business users and stakeholders.

Translate banking requirements into detailed functional specifications for development teams.

Development & Solution Delivery Support

Work closely with developers, solution architects, and QA teams throughout the SDLC lifecycle.

Break down requirements into implementable functional components.

Support technical teams in understanding banking workflows and regulations.

Review technical designs to ensure alignment with business requirements.

Support API, integration, workflow, and event-driven solution discussions.

Assist teams in defining functional acceptance criteria.

Support product configuration and customization activities.

Participate in feature demonstrations and solution walkthroughs.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Analyze defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution.

Support regression testing during releases and upgrades.

Provide expertise in banking functional and technical aspects which are aligned with Digital Banking processes.

Required Skills & Experience

Banking Domain

8 - 12 years of Banking or Financial Services experience.

Strong understanding of:



Retail Banking Principals

CASA (Current & Savings Accounts)

Deposit and Lending Operations

Local and International Payments and payment systems

Regional Regulatory Compliance

Technology & Development Knowledge

Experience working closely with software development teams.

Understanding of: APIs and Integration Services

REST/JSON Services

Microservices Architecture

SQL and Data Analysis

System Integration Testing

Key Technical Competencies

Knowledge of cloud-native application architectures, microservices, and containerized deployments.

Experience of working with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud orchestration platforms.

Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and cloud monitoring solutions EEO
